“Why is H+A doing this?”

H+A Marketing+PR is a full-service communications agency based in Cork employing 24 people who were all shocked by what has been happening in Cork in recent times.

We all stood around helplessly, watching the news and reading the papers and feeling useless in the face of the worst natural disaster to hit Cork City. Like so many others, we wanted to help, but didn’t quite know what to do. So we decided to take action and help get much needed money to those so desperately affected.

The Raising Cork Quiz is in aid of the Cork Flood Victims – with all proceeds going to the SVP Cork Flood Victims Fund. It will be held on Monday the 7th of December at 8pm in the Silversprings Conference Centre. A table of four costs €80.

The businesses of Cork are being very generous in their support so there will be plenty of great spot prizes on the night. Our thanks to George Hook, who so kindly offered to be our quizmaster and to the Silversprings who generously offered us their Conference Centre as the venue.

It’s a hard time for so many people, but we hope that our combined effort will raise much needed funds, and in doing so, perhaps raise the spirit of Cork and start the Season of Giving early!
