10 days to go…

It’s just 10 days to H+A’s Raising Cork Quiz in aid of the Cork Flood Victims – with all proceeds going to the SVP Cork Flood Victims Fund.

We desperately need your support. You can either register a team for the quiz (a table of 4 only costs €80), or, if you are a business and want to provide us with a spot prize, or item of value that we can auction – we will gladly accept it. Email us on info@raisingcork.com.

Things were already tough before the flooding but it is only by working together and helping each other as a community that Cork will recover.

Please check back regularly – we will be updating this site and keeping you posted on developments all the way up to Dec 7th.

Looking forward to seeing you on the 7th.

Raising Cork calls on Cork Business Community to support flood relief

A table quiz is being organised to raise funds for people affected by the recent flooding in Cork. The quiz, called the Raising Cork Quiz, is taking place in Silverprings Moran Hotel on Monday the 7th of December at 8pm. All money raised will go towards helping people all over Cork City and County who are facing into a bleak Christmas. Tables of four are available for €80 and people can register here

The Raising Cork Quiz, being organised by employees of H+A Marketing + PR, is calling on members of Cork’s business community to get behind the quiz to help raise badly needed funds for the people of Cork.

Everyone in Cork City and County has either been affected by the floods or knows someone who is,” said Tom O’Sullivan, one of the organisers of the quiz. “We decided in the office that we needed to do something to help, and within an hour, Silverprings hotel had given us the use of their convention centre for free and George Hook had agreed to be the MC for the evening.

There has been a great response from people who want to take part in the quiz, but we really need the businesses of Cork to come together to help. We’re calling on any business that can help with prizes and support to contact us at info@raisingcork.com. Things were already tough before the flooding but it is only by working together and helping each other as a community that Cork will recover.

Information on the quiz is available throughout this site and you can follow us on twitter here
